Who handles your information

Yuanzhi Xu operates BusinessTrustHub from Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. For questions, corrections or deletion requests, email contact@businesstrusthub.com.

Information you provide

The supplier verification form collects your email address, supplier name, optional supplier URL, where you found the supplier, selected service, additional information and an optional business licence file. We also record the submission time, reference, page of origin and language.

The monitoring enquiry forms collect your email, supplier name and URL where supplied, free-check or pilot interest, submission time, page of origin and, when available, campaign tags and the referring website’s hostname.

If you email us, we receive your message, contact details and any attachments you choose to send. Please share only documents you are entitled to provide, and remove unrelated personal or sensitive details.

Why and how information is used

We use this information to assess whether we can identify the supplier, handle your enquiry, carry out agreed research, provide findings and communicate about report options. Supplier submissions and uploaded documents are not published as public profiles.

We treat client submissions as confidential. Access is used for handling the enquiry and delivering the agreed work; hosting and email providers also process information to operate these services.

Storage and service providers

The website and private request storage use Cloudflare. Enquiry notifications and messages sent to our contact address reach the operator’s Gmail inbox through Cloudflare email services. Submitted form details may appear in notification emails; uploaded licence files are stored with the private request.

The operator is based in China, and Cloudflare and Google provide international infrastructure. Information may be processed outside your country; we do not claim that it is stored only within the European Union.

If you proceed with a paid service, a PayPal invoice or payment link is sent separately. This website does not collect card details. PayPal handles information submitted through its own service.

Working copies and research assistance

Working copies may be stored on the operator’s computer. We share client material with an external research assistant only after obtaining the client’s written agreement identifying the recipient, purpose and information to be shared. We share only necessary material and require confidentiality and deletion arrangements. This is separate from the hosting and email providers described above.

Technical information and analytics

Cloudflare processes connection information such as IP addresses to serve and protect the website. The application uses IP-based rate limits and records operational events such as save or notification failures.

Optional page and conversion analytics are not currently enabled on the BusinessTrustHub domain. The application does not set advertising or analytics cookies here. This does not mean that hosting and security services receive no technical information.

Retention and your requests

Unconverted enquiries, free-check records and monitoring expressions of interest are kept for 6 months after the last substantive communication. Routine follow-up messages do not restart this period.

Original attachments, including business licences, pro forma invoices and payment documents, are kept until the 90-day support period following report delivery ends. For enquiries that do not become paid assignments, attachments are kept until the earlier of 90 days after closure or 6 months after the last substantive communication, unless a documented exception described below applies. Without further communication, the submission date starts the 6-month period. A free check closes when the final response is sent; other unconverted enquiries close when cancelled or discontinued, or at the 6-month review if inactive with no work pending.

Paid reports, necessary source references and evidence extracts, and service-scope confirmations are kept for 12 months after the service is completed. This does not extend retention of entire original attachments; only the minimum evidence needed to explain the report is retained.

Payment and transaction records are handled separately according to applicable recordkeeping obligations. Relevant records may be kept longer for an active dispute; the reason is recorded and reviewed when the dispute ends.

Deletion is currently manual. We review records monthly and remove expired material from active storage within one month after its retention period ends, unless a documented exception applies. This covers request storage, email copies and files held on the operator’s computer. Copies shared with research assistants are included in the deletion arrangements.

Provider-managed backups may remain until they expire under the provider’s backup lifecycle. We do not promise immediate erasure of every backup copy. If records are restored, applicable deletions must be reapplied.

You can ask about the information held about your enquiry, request corrections or request deletion by contacting the email above. We may need enough information to identify the request. Any records that need to be retained for an ongoing assignment or applicable obligations will be explained when responding.
